PAYOUT POLICIES
Minimum Car Counts. Posted payouts assume a minimum of 8 cars per class. If car counts fall below the minimum, payouts may be adjusted on a sliding scale, announced at the drivers' meeting before the event.
Tow Money. All cars that take the green flag in their feature event are eligible for tow money, provided they completed at least one lap and were not disqualified.
Tax Forms. Drivers earning $600 or more in a calendar year will be required to complete a W-9 form before payout. Payments may be held until the form is submitted.
Payout Pickup. Cash payouts are available at the pay window approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of racing. Drivers must pick up their own payout — no third-party pickups without written authorization.
Disputes. Any payout dispute must be raised at the pay window the night of the event. Disputes raised after leaving the property will not be reviewed.
Special Events. Purse structures for special events (season opener, championship night, Florida Dirt Classic, holiday specials, and invitational events) are published individually at least two weeks before the event. Special events typically pay 2–4x the weekly purse.
Bonus Programs. Southern Raceway runs additional bonus programs throughout the season including hard charger awards, heat winner bonuses, lucky dog drawings, and contingency awards from sponsors. Watch our website and social media for details.
Class rules and payouts subject to change. Final tech specifications available on the individual class tech sheet pages. Track management has final authority on all rule interpretations and payout decisions.
