Who we are

Southern Raceway is a dirt track racing facility near Pace, Florida, serving Santa Rosa County and the surrounding Panhandle. This website publishes our race schedule, class rules and payouts, results, standings, classifieds and articles for racers and fans.

Information we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum a racetrack website needs. There are no user accounts on this site, and we do not sell anything through it.

• Information you give us directly. If you send us a message through a form on this site, we receive whatever you type into it, which usually means your name, your email address and the content of your message.
• Classifieds submissions. If you send in a classified ad, we receive the ad text, any photos you attach, and the contact details you want published alongside the listing.
• Basic technical information. Like almost every website, our host records standard server information such as your browser type, device type, approximate region and the pages you visited.

How we use your information

We use what we collect to answer your questions, publish classified ads you ask us to publish, keep the site working, and understand which pages people actually read so we can improve them. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade contact lists.

Race nights are public events. Photos and video taken at Southern Raceway may include drivers, crews and spectators, and may be published on this website or on our social channels. If you appear in an image and would like it removed, contact us and tell us which image it is, and we will take it down.

How long we keep information

Messages and classifieds submissions are kept only as long as they are useful for answering you or running the listing, and then deleted. Server logs and analytics data are kept on the standard retention schedule of the services that produce them.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop emailing you at any time. Contact us using the details on our contact page and we will handle the request.

Children

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Some pages link out to sponsors, partners, race series, parts suppliers and other racetracks. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's website, under their privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information.

If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
